Wayne still hasn't figured out the inherent connection between destroying the world and becoming an Ancient God. Based on his current actions and the stable behavior of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he has every reason to believe that destroying the world and becoming an Ancient God are not causally related.
The reason is simple: Wayne has already contaminated the entire God-chosen Continent and the Divine Nation; all life is within his grasp. To give a fair evaluation, if he ever dreams about the apocalypse, the God-chosen Continent and the Divine Nation would disappear in an instant.
