Golden blood spurted from Michael's neck. He raised his hand to wipe it, and the wound healed instantly. He slowly turned to look at the brash Wayne.
His face was indifferent, and golden flames flickered violently in his eyes.
All along, the only opponent Michael truly regarded as a formidable enemy was the Lord Pride, head of the Seven Deadly Sins. He felt pressure from Pride and always took pride in defeating Pride and sealing Hell.
After defeating Pride, humility became even more arrogant.
Michael viewed Pride as his arch-nemesis. Upon learning that Pride could control the Seven Deadly Sins, he caught up with his shadow, admired him even more, and looked forward to a duel someday in the future to defeat him once more.
So, you can say anything, but never say that he is inferior to Pride.
"You are the Lord of Hypocrisy, right? You are a worthy opponent. I will do my utmost to kill you."
