Envy, Greed, and Sloth were all startled. They've heard about Lust's recent affairs, all were true, not a lie, even the most arrogant Pride yielded to Lust's beauty.
"That's impossible, I don't believe he's that kind of arrogant!" Envy exclaimed.
Envy loudly denied, albeit quietly, in his heart, the Pride he perceived could never be entrapped by base desires, couldn't possibly be a lustful ghost.
