Buchi gave a faint smile, casually pulling out a room card and glancing at it, "This will do."
Then Buchi walked towards the room he chose, and Lai Mo picked a room card for himself, which happened to be next door.
As they each opened their doors, Lai Mo said, "This windfall of five million, I'll transfer your share to your account later."
Buchi had already opened his room door and stepped inside, his voice drifting out, "Okay."
The room door then closed.
What a proud fat man, but quite a good partner!
Lai Mo smiled and also pushed open his door, carrying his luggage inside.
This standard room, nestled in such a corner, had a bizarre layout, far less comfortable than the rooms upstairs.
Lai Mo closed the door and seemed to faintly hear music seeping through. Curious, he walked to the wall and leaned in to listen, muttering, "Is that fat man listening to music? Damn soundproofing."
