Mo Shangjun silently listened to Ding Jing's story until the end.
Then, she hung up the phone.
After putting down the phone, she stood in place, looking somewhat dazed at the quiet and empty office, as if something was missing.
Less than five minutes later, Ju Qiong quickly arrived outside her office. The door was slightly ajar, and after knocking twice, it automatically opened.
"Mo Shangjun—"
Ju Qiong opened his mouth and called Mo Shangjun's name, but at the moment he saw her standing there, he suddenly fell silent.
Upon hearing the voice, Mo Shangjun slightly tilted her head. She was not wearing a hat, her short hair had gotten somewhat wet on the way and hadn't dried, making her collar and sleeves appear dark and heavy.
She didn't show any expression, but her eyes suddenly seemed vacant — like they held many things, yet seemed to hold nothing at all, full yet empty.
So Ju Qiong had a peculiar intuition and asked, "You found out?"
"Yes."
Mo Shangjun responded lightly.
