"I think," Mo Shangjun shook the half-eaten chocolate in her hand and then raised an eyebrow at Ding Jing, chuckling, "since they've planned everything out, let's just not follow their playbook."
Ding Jing touched her chin and asked, "Go over in three days?"
"..."
Mo Shangjun almost choked on her chocolate.
"Then what?"
"Since it's not raining tonight, let's set off early," Mo Shangjun said, "they left by car, so we'll walk along the mountain path. We shouldn't encounter any danger at night."
"Arrive early?"
If they really rush like this, they might be utterly exhausted by the time they arrive early.
"Yeah." Mo Shangjun nodded, "If they even anticipate this, then we're out of options."
Ding Jing thought for a while, finally asking in exasperation, "Don't you have a smarter, jaw-dropping suggestion?"
"No, my brain's just not working."
Mo Shangjun stuffed the last bit of chocolate into her mouth, patted her hands, and then stood up from the ground.
