"Damn! Mo Shangjun! You finally picked up the phone!"

Mo Shangjun silently moved her phone a little further away.
Then, very calmly, she asked, "What's up?"
There was silence on the other end of the line for three seconds, then in a tone of suppressed irritation, a voice slowly spat out, "You're asking me what's up?"
With a slight pause, Mo Shangjun moved the phone even further away.
Sure enough, Liang Zhiqiong's angry voice came through—
"I was going to ask you that! You didn't even give me a heads-up, just had the Navy inform me to go over there. Do you know what the look in our captain's eyes was like this afternoon when she saw me? It was like I stole her husband!"
After listening quietly, Mo Shangjun thought her imagination was indeed a bit lacking—because that analogy somehow didn't sound right.
