It wasn't until noon that the heavy rain gradually subsided.
Ya Tianxing walked around but did not see Mo Shangjun, nor did he see her going to the cafeteria for lunch. After searching for over ten minutes, he finally found her sitting in the off-road vehicle he often used.
Outside, the rain pattered down. The car window was open just a crack, and Mo Shangjun had taken off her raincoat. Dressed in army camouflage, she sat in the driver's seat reading, with earphones plugged in. The black earphone wires stood out against her fair face, making her look like a diligent high-schooler.
Ya Tianxing tapped on the car door with his fingers.
Mo Shangjun took off the earphones, casually twirling them in her hand, then lifted her eyes to look at him. Her black and white eyes were calm and composed, showing no surprise.
"Mind going out for a date?" Ya Tianxing bent slightly, asking.
"Sure," Mo Shangjun closed her book, asking with a smile, "Where to?"
"The seaside."
