Early morning, five o'clock.
After suffering the humiliation of a complete defeat and starting over, the Frogmen began to pay attention to all upcoming actions, even organizing a patrol unit, the vanguard, to lead and reconnoiter ahead.
Later, they faced two more surprise attacks. Despite being prepared, they suffered heavy losses and were forced off their designated positions. After the opponents retreated, it took them a considerable amount of time to find their previous route.
If this were a real battle, it would be a crushing defeat for them; they were beaten with nowhere to strike back, and amidst the brutal casualties, they couldn't capture a single enemy or get any information.
They were like ghosts, appearing and disappearing in the jungle, occasionally taking a few shots, and by the time they chased after them, the enemy had vanished without a trace.
