Zhang Yuksheng was momentarily stunned, "Sound? Where's the sound coming from?"
An Yiqing's brows furrowed slightly as she glanced around, "No, there was definitely a sound just now."
She could clearly hear some sort of snapping sound earlier, barely noticeable unless one has specially trained hearing.
Zhang Yuksheng was spooked by An Yiqing's remark and planned to pull over and check the car.
To his horror, as he pressed down on the brake pedal, he realized the car continued speeding forward without any sign of slowing down or stopping!
"What's happening? Why isn't the brake working?!"
Zhang Yuksheng's face turned pale as a sheet. He wasn't concerned about his own safety but An Yiqing, the person he cherished most, was also in the car!
