Zephyr paid it no mind as he spun around, his sword already yanked out of the monsters stomach as he sliced the growling monsters head
Black blood spilled all over Zephyr's face as a long gash appeared on monsters throat, but still the damage didn't stop the monster.
Its crimson glare met his eyes as the creature sailed forwards, sharp nails going for his face in a bout to claw at it's prey
Zephyr kicked the monster, using it's sturdy body as recoil allowing him to jump backwards thus evading it's grip
The creature snarled as it stumbled back. Despite all of its wounds, the creature recovered fast, bending its legs as it lunged at zephyr

But alas his efforts proved futile as the creature showed tenacity unlike any other as it ignored it's severe wounds and backhanded zephyr who stood near it flinging him the wall
Seeing the chance, the creature screeched as it jumped on zephyr and attempted to bite him
Zephyr realizing his situation used his left hand as a shield as the creature bite it forcefully causing zephyr to grit his teeth in pain
His eyes became determined as he used his remaining points in to Strength

Ignoring the notification, his eyes became ferocious as his hands pierced the belly of the creature finding a solid marble in it
The monster shrieked as zephyr dug out it's core and it's eyes lost it's ones Crimson light falling motionless on the ground
"Ahh!!!" Zephyr screamed as he felt something wiggling towards his chest as black veins appeared on his arm.
Better to be safe than sorry, in a swift motion he ruthlessly cut of his left arm directly from the shoulder in a bid to stop the spreading of the black veins
"Fuck!!" zephyr hissed as the mild antiseptic slipped onto his now bloodied shoulder.
The wound bubbled wherever the chemical touched and Leo had the urge to scream but alas he couldn't, who knew what monstrosity was crawling during the night, and he wasn't willing to become the meal of it considering his now current state
He wasn't even sure if the injury required disinfecting with the whole System.
The pain coming from the wound wasn't even half as bad as he expected and the cuts already showed signs of healing, but nothing more like another arm coming out
Zephyr grunted, covering his shoulder with layers of blood-stained bandage
With only one normal hand and the other half-torn, he couldn't really do much other than lay down and rest, waiting for the night to pass

At night, a shadow creeped towards zephyr's floor, it's eyes flashed with an eerie light as it's senses were heightened following the fainst stench of blood and life force it felt
It silently it bypassed the hallway and arrived finding it's prey
Its eyes narrowed and stared straight at Zephyr for a good while before sniffing him gently. Afterwards it's attempted to claw him when suddenly

Suddenly, an ear-piercing sound rang out. There was a flash of dazzling, green light that immediately shot past the creatures's neck.
Immediately, blood sprayed forth violently, and the ancient beast's colossal head directly fell to the ground, having been beheaded in a single stroke

Several figures arrived in the distance.
Their leader was a youth with a sense of level-headedness and a cold expression.
He carried a sword on his back and seemed quite like an expert
Behind the youth were several young men and women, they all seemed rather dirtied and dishevelled, clearly having spent several days in the wilderness already.
"Excellent Lex, one stroke to kill a night crawler, your the strongest"

"Thank god we finally found some necessities, coming across one really hasn't been easy."
The young men and women behind the youth were all in high spirits. They all gathered around the creature known as the night crawler quickly.
The youth used his sword to directly disembowel the monster and prepared to remove it's core
"Hmm? T-this looks like a person." Very soon, they noticed Zephyr who was slumped up on a corner
"Forget about him. He's already dead." The youth concluded after glancing at Zephyr's missing arm and the pool of blood beneath him
He was abit indifferently as he had seen plenty of situations like this before already
He removed a red crystal skillfully and placed it into a backpack
He seemed to let out a great sigh of relief with that, murmuring, "Finally finished, pack up the necessities, we've spent all these days out here. It's time for us to go back"
With that, the youth was about to leave with the others around him.
"Hold on, Lex, th-the-the guy actually moved. This person isn't actually dead. He's still alive?" At this moment, a girl behind the youth know as Lex cried out. She widened her beautiful eyes and stared straight at Zephyr
When they heard that, everyone looked over subconsciously and immediately noticed that Zephyr was slowly opening his eyes.
He had already woken up.
As soon as he opened his eyes, he noticed the unfamiliar figures before him, and he was left momentarily confused

Of the two young men, the one called Aris tried to strike up a conversation with him several times, but he became silent when he received no reply.

"Aris, enough. It's not like you don't know about the power of this zombies, he might have survived, but who knows what kind of side effects it might leave behind," the girl called Laura said. Her voice was very smooth and slightly gentle, which made her seem considerate
