It was not an easy realization in the middle of a road to war. It was something that Sakura hadn't planned for, but then this was something that she had to talk about.
The allegations laid out by Kiyomi did not make sense on a surface level because, honestly, Sakura had made Elif's life better. She had given her the chance to experience a type of life humans didn't even know of.
A type of power that people didn't come across accidentally. It was the kind that raised questions and did the impossible. But by all accounts, Elif should have been on Sakura's side through and through.
And fuck, she was.
She always was.
Only that there was one subject that Sakura knew with all her life that she had left would probably never see eye to eye on.
