While Elif was getting her job back in a dangerous city hospital, Izanami and Bazyli had managed to blackmail the last of the shareholders of the Aydin empire into not selling their stocks.
The shareholders were scattered.
There was no sense of loyalty because fear was running the city.
It was as if the world was coming together, but only to crush Odanera, a city in the middle. It was not right, but what the fuck could be done about it when it all would never truly make sense for them?
The tensions in the city didn't even seem to make it right anymore. Life was slowly losing meaning, and with Elif back in that same city, there was no telling what would happen to them.
This was not even a healthy ground at the moment.
Instead, Bazyli and Izanami had somewhat managed to threaten their key members and forced them to stay in the company. It was something that was barbaric, given how fast the stocks were falling and the losses that threatened to drag them all down.
