Nothing about this in the storm was amusing, and Sakura hated that she was here, conflicted about what she was supposed to do. She hated that her affection for Liu was having her wonder what she would do just to get the woman to stay.


If Liu had just been another Lycan, Sakura wouldn't have hesitated to kill her. 


Gods, now she was staring at the woman, waiting for something hopeful; something would tell her that this was just a misunderstanding. 


That this was not how Liu had intended it, and yet the sincerity in the woman's voice since she had stepped into Skura's chambers was more than obvious. What the hell was Sakura supposed to make of this then?
