Kiyomi didn't portal far.
At first, she had intended to get away from here as far as possible, but then, as the portal back to the manor got active, Kiyomi thought of getting to the bottom of this. Everything about what had just happened was suspicious as hell.
Izanami was never the kind of woman to accept a rejection that easily, and that too when she was desperate for more power. Kiyomi could have given her what she wanted if Izanami had pressed harder.

Izanami was stronger and crazier than Kiyomi would ever be on a normal day. And if she let her anger get the best of her, even the defiant Kimura girl would never have been a match for her. It was pretty much obvious, yet Kiyomi was let free.
The good doctor had not been chained to anything, which was weird as hell, because Izanami, oh, Izanami did not manage to get a while really scared of her just because she was kinda willing to let everyone go.
