Kiyomi was being cruel.
She knew it too.
This was not right, not here at the hospital, and certainly not ever.
They were both hurting each other, and it wasn't making any of them feel any better. Kiyomi needed to see Sakura, and Ichika needed to say her final goodbyes to her friend without the woman who had betrayed them.
It was a contradiction despite the fact that they were both apparently on the same side; perhaps it was the grief and possibility of loss that was truly messing with them. But Zara couldn't let them fight this to the death.
She wouldn't let herself watch the woman she wanted to protect be reduced to nothingness.
She couldn't stand failing her queen, which was why she insisted on intervening. Maybe it was for the best because no one could tell what would have happened here with the two women fighting like a pack of dogs.
