"Hakoku!!!"
A massive Shockwave blasted outward, barreling toward one of the many inactive volcanoes on the island. The moment the shockwave made contact with the ancient volcanic mountain the earth and stone crumbled and gave way, punching a perfectly symmetrical hole in the mountainside.
I stood silently, looking wide eyed at the total destruction my attack had caused. Glancing down at the now crumbling blade in my hand. It wasn't a surprise it hadn't withstood the attack, it was after all just a blade made from rock I had created with my devil fruit.
"Gababababa! Carter, that was incredible!" Broggy shouted as he came up behind me and gave me a colossal slap on the back. "I've never seen someone learn how to use even the weakest of Elbaph's techniques without a few tries. Let alone Hakoku! But you managed to pull it off after only seeing it once!"
It had been a while now since I had come to Little garden. In that time I had befriended Dorry and Brogy. It had taken some major convincing including telling them about the incoming return of Nika but they had finally decided to teach me Hakoku. This also included them helping me master my last step of advanced armament haki: emission.
"Thanks but it's only due to my eyes, and I wouldn't have been able to pull it off at all if it hadn't been for your guidance on emission."
"Gyagagaga! Don't be so modest Carter! Even if you used those strange eyes of yours to copy our movements, it takes a lot more than just technique and powerful Haki to execute the spears of Elbaph. You've got a real talent for it!" Dorry appeared next to Brogy and clapped his hand on my shoulder.
I let out a weak sigh and relented "If you say so."
I had to admit that these last few days on Little Garden had been as fun as they were informative. But it was now time to leave. I had Hakoku, I had dinosaur DNA and I had scoured the island top to bottom looking for any kind of treasure left behind by pirates or even that other otherworlder but nothing came from it. Now I had to get going if I wanted to deliver items to the strawhats in the grand line as well as stop by Sky island on my way back to Marineford if I wanted to make it back on time for my official ranking.
But before I left I did want to get around to using all the loot items I had amassed. So I did just that.
I started with the two tier four item boxes. And the results were absolutely amazing.

- Devil Fruit Purification Elixir: an elixir that when consumed causes the consumer's devil fruit to abandon them and reincarnate without killing them

My jaw nearly hit the floor at the sight of the last two items. The brooch was an absolute godsend but the elixir? That was a game changer of astronomical proportions. The ability to rob someone of their devil fruit without killing them was incredible. I had half a mind to just fly to Wano right that moment and slip it into Kaido's sake. But after a monet i came to my senses and decided to seal it within my inventory until one of two things happened. One: I came across and incredibly overpowered fruit or two: I could somehow get into Mary Geoise and get it into either the gorosei or even Imu themselves.
Before my mind could spiral into the possibilities this new trump card could grant me, I pulled myself back to reality. I had more loot to get though.
Next up I used the otherworldly item token. What I received was... less and optimal.

The heart of the katana devil from the Chainsawman universe. If implanted into a human and a contract created the human will become the katana hybrid, if implanted into a corpse the katana devil will take hold and become the katana fiend, drawing its bower from the bear of katanas]
This item was decent. But just like the sukuna finger he had received, he had no reason to give the bugger a body. Especially because in the world of one piece, katanas were feared much more than in the world of chainsaw man meaning the katana devil would get an insane power buff.
So just like the sukuna finger, into the inventory it went. Without wasting a beat I pulled out the item I was the most excited for the specific other skill token.
Of course I had no illusions that this would allow me to gain something incredibly overpowered like Void God Azazoth or All Fiction. But just having a choice in the matter of what ability I received made me excited.
Using the token a familiar blue screen appeared in front of me.

Then the window transitioned into a massive scrolling list, thousands upon thousands of abilities. I scrolled and read the descriptions of every single one that caught my eye. I saw decently powerful abilities but nothing that would particularly help me with my current goals. That is until my eyes fell on one skill.
[Cap'n Jack's Luck o' the Sea.
The ability belonging to Captain Jack Sparrow of the pirates of the caribbean universe. So long as the wielder is on the sea the user will have unparalleled good luck. Effect increases the more pirate-like the user is. ]
This was it. Jack's luck was legendary and for a world like one piece that was nearly all sea. It was the best possible ability to have. I chose it without hesitation.
With that out of the way I pulled out the last item in my inventory that could grant me more abilities. The stand arrow shard.
Not being one to wait, I summoned a wood clone. "You know what to do" I said, taking off my shirt, giving it a clear shot of my chest. Without a word the clone took the shard and drove it into my chest.
I let out a pained grunt as the metal pierced my flesh but it was instantaneously overshadowed by the feeling of power flowing into me. After the feeling subsided I pulled the shard from my chest, the wound being healed near instantaneously. After placing the shard back into my inventory the system gave me a notification.

A feral grin spread across my face as I read the abilities of my stand. The ability to create and control tungsten, as well as the ability to switch forms for different situations, such a perfect ability.
I was elated. Why? Because now I knew for certain if I were to fight against Sakazuki I could come out on top.
I'm not just riding the high of gaining new abilities. I've done the math and I'm 100% certain I outclass Sakazuki in the most important ways now. Or at least I will outclass him once I pick up a few important techniques relating to haki.
In terms of Haki, Sakazuki is a monster when it comes to armament having mastered emission. Unfortunately for him the marines don't know the secret to the step up from emission, internal destruction. Lucky for me my perfect memory skill lets me remember the training method for this technique, so after I master it I will be able to suppress his armament with mine
His Observation is at the pinnacle of the basic techniques but he hasn't unlocked future sight. And he just straight up does not possess conqueror's haki. Meaning that since I do possess conqueror's haki, once I master conqueror's infusion he will not be able to counter it with his own.
So yes I believe that in terms of haki I will be able to come out on top against Sakazuki when the time is right.
Then comes his base strength. He possessed one of the most powerful physiques in all of One Piece, being able to recover decently quickly after whitebeard literally drove a tremor point blank into his body. That alone speaks for his durability and his endurance is also top notch as he was able to fight Kuzan for ten full days and come out victorious with only a few scars to show for it.
However, compared to my body and its chimeric physique, of fully awakened age body, ancient giant and the other tank-build races I planned to acquire such as lunarians and oni, I was confident in my ability to outlast him. Not to mention my near instantaneous regeneration granted by not only the sage body but also the stone of Gelel.
And then we have the devil fruit. I wont lie, the magu magu no mi really lives up to the hype as the devil fruit with the most attack power. If it was my fruit versus his fruit his fruit would come out on top even with the enhancement I gave it with the system's power. In fact probably the only way my fruit wins against his is if I awaken it. However this is where my stand gives me the advantage.
The temperature of magma reaches from about 700-1300 degrees Celsius (1300-2400 degrees Fahrenheit), meaning it can melt pretty much anything, tungsten however has a melting point of 3,422 degrees Celsius (6,191.6 degrees Fahrenheit). Meaning that magma literally cannot melt it. Sure Sakazuki could still break it with armament but that brings up another issue for the red dog.
No one, not even pure haki wielders like Roger and Garp have ever been seen as able to break seastone. It requires an incredibly difficult procedure to shape seastone, this procedure is pretty much only known to the stonemasons of wano country and the world government. Not even Big Mom, a user of conqueror's infusion was able to escape her seastone bindings.
Seastone has been revealed to be as hard as diamond, the hardest thing on planet earth. This means that seastone rates a 10, the very top on the Mohs scale of hardness. Tungsten rates a 9 on the same scale. So while diamond and sea stone are for some reason unbreakable in the world of One Piece, tungsten should be pretty damn difficult to destroy even if it is possible to do so.
So yes once I get my haki up to snuff I have every confidence that I will be able to triumph over Sakazuki.
Why? You may ask, am I so hellbent on beating Sakazuki? The dude is a prick. And I want to be someone on Garp's level. I have no intention of becoming an admiral so those celestial pigs can boss me around. I want to be like Garp, a vice admiral that is universally known to be stronger than the admirals.
'And kicking the shit out of Sakazuki will be fun.'
Shaking myself from my thoughts, I selected yes. I had the perfect name in mind.
"Come out, Tungsten Sorcerer!" I commanded.
At my side a silver and black figure took form, it resembled a completely plain doll.
I frowned slightly. I had expected a more flashy form for a stand. 'Hmm, let's try out the forms. Combat frame.'
With my mental command the doll rapidly changed. From a plain silver frame, elegant knights armor took form.
It's featureless face was encased in a proud helmet, it's slender form outfitted with broad full plate. It's slender hands replaced by claw-like gauntlets.
I whistled, "Ok now that is much better." I said admiring the magnificent armor. "Now let's try the other. Tinkering frame"
The previous process seems to reverse as the stand slimed down but not to the original design. It's slimed somewhat but the head now instead of the helmet had a pair of goggles. It also sprouted two additional arms from its sides.
"Hmm, I like it."
With all that out of the way I decided I was feeling lucky and bought a tier 2 item box. I needed to get more items for the strawhate anyways.

The Bolt seemed useless at first then I remembered that Chopper had a small metal covering to repair his damaged horn. Meaning i could just swap out one of the bolts for this one.
And the eternal pose was a great opportunity. According to my memories, the island of promises is where the mythical zoan Batto Batto no mi model: vampire was hidden by "Red Count" Patrick Redfield who was currently locked away in level six of impel down.
'The location of a devil fruit that grants eternal life, how great!' I thought with a smile.
Now I was ready to leave. So I said my goodbyes to Dorry and Brogy, as well as using the infinite sake gourd to fill up a few barrels with a few years worth of booze for the two warriors. I was allowed to take samples of their blood for that favor.
What? Just because I am already part ancient giant doesn't mean that having their DNA handy won't be useful.
After that Justice and I set off to our next target.
