Chapter 16 - Ch;15: Kingdom Building

Arriving in Vale, Sukuna finally landed, practicing the Limitless technique's flying capabilities and finding them suitable for his god form. Walking towards the remembered coordinates and gazing upon the camp-.

Why was it destroyed?

He gazed out, letting his Six Eyes run for miles as he saw everything, until, he was met with a gruesome sight… yeah okay I lied.

Sukuna walked towards the camp and examined the ruins. Atlassian Battle Bots were carved and ripped apart, as if someone had dared against his will.

With little haste, Sukuna grabbed out his scroll and called Glynda. Hearing nothing to indicate her death, he found the line answered upon by a smug looking James Ironwood.

"Ryomen Sukuna, as decree'd by the official of Atlas-"

"Shut the fuck up." He sighed in annoyance and looked down at the hologram before continuing. "Your existence is a bother to me now James. I have little patience for fools like you. Tell me where you are keeping Glynda and Dagon, or- actually never mind."

Sukuna snapped his head to the right, his red eyes glistening blue as he stared into the general's very soul.

"Found you."

Merely flickering as he used Limitless to teleport straight in front of a Bullhead, a smile clear on his face as he wound back his right fist, ripping it forwards and puncturing the pilot through bullet proof glass. Ripping the pilot out, he wrecked the front half of the plane as Sukuna pulled himself in.

The bullhead spinning as it lost control in the air. He kicked the door off, splattering a guard as he appeared a few feet away and grabbed another guard, using Cleave and shredding him into cubes of gore as he used a bit of CE and fired off a blast, piercing another man with a smile and-

*schlinng*

Countless slashes ripped through the interior of the bullhead, his face stilling as he looked at the sweating man.

"Ki-"

His hand gripped Ironwood's mouth, crushing his jaw in a show of gore as he dropped with a muffled. He started to run, only for Sukuna to flick his fingers back and forth, slowly ripping through the man who wailed in agony, clinging to life so desperately by ripping himself through the slashes. He almost made it…

Blue ripped the general backwards, with Sukuna slamming him into the wall of the aircraft, his screams peaking as Sukuna smiled crazily, grabbing Ironwood's lower back before ripping upwards in a swift brutality. His spine was ripped from his person, his screams dying out as Sukna stared into the hanging man's eyes. A light chuckle echoing out before,

"Poor poor Irondick, dying like a dog in the end. Don't worry, Your kingdom will be remembered, only as the ants under me. " The look of helplessness in his face, slowly fading alongside his lifeforce, his last moments spent listening to Sukuna laughing in nothing but cruelty.

'Alright, time to free them.'

He was keeping the aircraft in suspended animation with Limitless, so he wasn't worried as he walked forward, grabbing the cage like glass and ripping the wall completely off, looking inside and finding the two people he was looking for.

Dismantle cut through the walls as he grabbed the both of them and appeared a long ways away, ripping off the gags and cuffs. He yawned in boredom as the two of them- "BOMB!"

Huh? Sukuna looked over at one of the many falling- oh. Wait how di-

He whipped around, seeing Dagon's cursed corpse shine in brilliance and explode. The explosion was giant, though Sukuna just watched as the light shined through everything and eviscerated the wildlife around, killing most things around him for a few kilometers.

Sukuna healed his burned skin, grimacing as he watched the world around him burn. He sighed, looking at his claws on his right hand before chuckling, "Boring."

Though he never really expected their betrayal, but oh well, he wasn't that affected by them anyway.

He disappeared in nanoseconds, going on and flickering around as he made his way back towards the cursed energy of his two servants, finding them within the echoes of a fallen nation.

Vale. He meant Vale.

Sukuna walked with a tone of arrogance, flaunting his figure in a way someone at the top of the food chain would. He wouldn't do this in a new world, but here. He technically owned this reality.

His presence alerted the nearby survivors who looked on at his form, his dharma wheel still behind him like a giant halo.

"Ah! My lord, do you like this place?" Uro waved her hands at the hundreds of random survivors, all looking quite lost.

"Yes, we chose this place because of its fertility and past. It shall be easy to take over and convert." Yuki smiled as Sukuna nodded his head, the six-eyes analyzed the soil and saw great fertility…

Just like the tw-

Anyway. Sukuna let his arms raise and madesure all attention was upon his form.

"Greetings. I am Ryomen Sukuna. I have become the leading God of this reality and I have chosen this place as the start of my worship."

Merely turning around and waving his hand, every tidbit of debris was pulled together violently, all gathering in the middle of what was once Vale. It took around thirty seconds before everything was reclaimed, all flat for around 2 miles.

It was perfect for what he had imagined. His hands alit with color and brightness as he used Creation and touched the floor. His Cursed energy pulsed throughout the land, and everything faded and swirled like a mirage. Matter from unknown places rose and befell into strict conditions.

And, with a thought, it all converged. An ancient shrine, like that of old, rose from the ground. Massive was an understatement, giant prefectures gave way into the very heart of the building, all melding together to create a magnificent piece of art.

The stairs leading up bleed into a road, which split off and twisted into different sections like veins, the shrine at the heart of it all. Buildings of old rose from the ground and furnished around in the many open and empty plateaus, giving birth to a cityscape Remnant to that of feudal Japan.

At the edge of the territory, a massive wall of a blend of metals arose, surrounded by stones of mixed heritage, everything in this city was a perfect blend of stones and metals, making it nearly indestructible. The walls rose high, and in mere minutes, the entire city was full of plumbing and heating.

Sukuna then used his inventory and made a clone, sending him to the now abandoned Mantle, and stole anything plumbing or electrically related.

All in all, the entire town took 10 minutes, and Sukuna finally rose from the ground. He turned around at the stunned crowd, all looking at him as a savior , a deity.

"All Hail Lord Sukuna!!"

""Lord Sukuna!!" "My Lord!"

Leave it to Yuki to rally a crowd of fanatic believers.

"Sukuna-sama, shall we gather the refugees from Mantle?" Uro stood next to him, calmly awaiting any orders or requests. He looked down at her, smiling lightly before nodding,

"Yes, then we shall invite the last remnants or humanity into this civilization as well, and after this, we shall leave. This universe, and go and conquer or destroy another." 'I'll need more strength though.'

"Affirmative."

Sukuna merely watched the people converge, all splitting off. Some odd men and women taking up roles. Gender and Race no longer matter, as they learned from suffrage that life treats all equally in nature.

Sukuna didn't bother much with the people any longer, tapping his foot and starting to walk away, going towards the shrine and opening his scroll.

He clicked on Ruby's name and called, letting it ring.

"Hey Sukuna! What's up?"

He looked behind him, two arms crossed and one arm on his hip. "I've set up my main city in the ashes of Vale. Do you still have the refugees with you? There are plenty of homes capable of holding families."

"Woah, you built a whole town?! That's awesome, yeah. We're all on the outskirts of Vacou."

"Alright, rally everyone, I'll be back after commandeering all of Mistral's bullhead' and people."

Sukuna said his goodbyes and disappeared. It took minutes, nearly 2, when he finally arrived at Mistral. Haven was being rebuilt, but that wasn't why he was there. Including the entirety of the Atlassian fleet, he also needed more resources for the city. Since Atlas was pretty much just technology after the refugees scattered, Sukuna decided the next best thing was Haven.

Simply put. He walked into the hall and looked at the nearest important person.

"Take me to the head figure here."

"*sigh* there is a wai-" the figure looked eye level and was face to face with a lower chest, a mouth just below. Her eyes traveled upwards, the four arms in stasis with tattoos all over his body. Then, she saw his face. Four eyes, two faces, and a giant golden wheel, slowly bobbing behind the 9 ft figure.

"Sukuna!?" It was impossible not to know of him, with the man fighting the Immortal witch Salem and apparently felling the gods of light and darkness, she was stunned to say the least.

"Yes, now, your leader. Bring me to them."

"O-of course!" The secretary scrambled, walking with a fast pace as his footsteps thundered behind her.

"So… what do you do here?" Call him awkward but he was still a bit content since he conquered this universe, and killed their gods.

"Oh, uh, I handle public matters and affairs."

"Interesting… I am in need of a public designator at the moment. Would you care to leave here and come to my kingdom, Silvermire?"

He added afterwards, "you can refuse. I'm just offering."

"Ah… is that the reason you're here?" She looked up with a tilted head,

"Well, maybe. I'm here for resources, more of the edible variety. After my clones are done stripping what remains of Atlas and Mantle for parts, I shall be taking all refugees from both into Silvermire. I'm here to discuss with your leader a few things before I leave."

"Can my sister come if I do? She's trying to become a member of the board of Directors, so she may be of use."

'All according to my keikaku.'

To say it simply, Ruby and co were watching as a small fleet of huge aircrafts came from the clouds, descending and landing with ease, the main one in the middle opening to reveal Sukuna in his true form.

(Image)

He looked upon the many people, slightly raising his head to get a glimpse of everyone around.

"That's quite a bit more than just Mantle Ruby. Mind telling me what occurred?"

She scratched her neck sheepishly, "Well, word spread of you making a city, and a whole bunch of people simply up and left! It was insane."

She was going to carry on, but a voice from the masses startled her from the conversation.

"Sukuna, nice to see you." Yang waved at him, punching him in his lower shoulder. A comedic sight to say the least.

"Well met, Yang. Blake, when we get to Silvermire, can you call your parents, I'd like to open an invitation to them as well."

"Mm, okay, I'll try."

"Thanks. Which reminds me," he stood up and clapped his hands, getting everyone's attention by the boom produced. "People of Mantle, and Vacou. Everyone leaving shall be aboard to Silvermire, a city created under me. I have one moral quality that you all need to carry lest you be forgotten. No racism, it's useless, direct that hate towards something else. If you have a problem with that, I'll throw you to the wilds and see if you know of the indifference of this cruel world. Do you understand?"

Most agreed with no squabble, for destruction sought no difference between race, only death.

With a motion they filled the ships, Sukuna watching over them like a leader should before waving off his concern and looking at the RWBY.

"Now, let's hurry back, I have a hot spring and a massage calling my name."

The people converged instantly, with many places being designated quickly and started to be moved into. With Sukuna currently walking into the shrine with a sigh. His CE was almost fully depleted due to him making the agricultural district, and expanding the wall as well. He also built the residential area for the rest of the people, with his Shrine having an overview of everything that he had built.

Sukuna opened a set of doors, and with a clasp he shut them behind himself. Untying the sash around his pants, he walked forwards and slipped into the water. Staring up at the ceiling in contempt, he rolled his shoulders and leaned back, letting himself soak for some time, he was only snapped out of his daze by a knock at the doors.

"Yes?"

"Sukuna-sama, Weiss Schnee is here for the meeting."

"Ah, tell her I'm finishing up."

He stepped out, dried off and slowly put on his robes, looking at the basket of Jewelry crafted by a thankful man, he sighed and began to Don said accessories.

A few seconds later, he stepped out of the room, walking for a minute longer before entering the sitting room. He didn't use his throne room for this, as he wanted to have tea without the adoration of his throne.

He knelt and settled in front of a kneeling Weiss, who sipped her bowl of tea gently. A maid came and poured his own, he nodded after she finished, whispering a thanks and grabbing the bowl.

"So, first things first. Welcome to my Shrine."

"Thank you for having me. It has a very grand feel to it."

"Hm. With this kingdom just starting, I need a general manager of weapon and ammunition manufacturing. I believe with enough time, you can bring said stores enough prosperity to fit all warriors with equal weaponry. Do you agree?"

"That's it? No Like, anything?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I thought you knew me better." He teased, in which she shook her head, sighing,

"Not really, you were pretty distant with most of the school."

"...true, I was in pursuit of power, and now that I have enough for this reality, I am satiated."

"Yeah. Sure, I agree. So, now what?" Weiss seemed to relax in the seat drinking more tea until realizing the bowl was empty.

"Well," He waved over the maid, "I suppose we could end the meeting here, or talk about other matters."

She shrugged at the offer, the two of the sitting in silence for a bit of time before she finally cracked, "How have you been?"

"Well off, I suppose. I'm soon to travel to Menagerie and recruit some of the commonwealth. How about you?"

"I've been fine. My mother's cleaned up a bit, trying to raise Whitley better, and Winter is going to join your new military. The only complaint I have is the lack of technology."

"True, I have been working on that. Yuki is working on oil extraction and distillation. I also have started on Solar energy research. I hope to advance this place fast."

"Ah? Solar energy?"

Sukuna smirked, "The process of converting the UV light from the sun into energy. It's not easy to say the least." He chuckled slightly, asking the maid to fetch something small to eat. With a quick thanks afterwards.

"Well, good luck I guess? Though, why even try that?" She seemed confused, so he enlightened her

"To reach space, and harvest resources from other places out there like asteroids."

Sukuna shrugged at the casual mention of mid tier space travel. Hell, high low tier to be honest. The conversation continued for a moment longer, the two of them discussing little things, all before it was time to leave.

"Have a good rest of your day, Weiss."

With a smile and a small bow, she started to walk out, "To you as well Sukuna."

He sighed after she left, with a look at the system he summoned the Gacha.

'System?'

(Yes?)

'Will items from other worlds be available, suck as miscellaneous things like different metals and or generators?'

(No, this Gacha only gives you weapons and powers of whatever verse is relevant at the time. Otherwise, this would be a gacha system, and I'm here to promote slaughter, not senseless brainrot.)

'Fair. What are the chances I end up in a world with actual advanced technology?'

(60/40. The system responds to a few things, and one of those is your emotions. Though this doesn't mean you can wish hard enough and get something.)

Sukuna shrugged before standing up and moving out of the room. With magic restored to Remnant, one of the first things he did was make railguns. Magic railguns. He then made some military training programs to make people protect the wall and other things.

There was another thing but he frankly had forgotten… on purpose.

Sukuna yawned before stretching his muscles, and looking down at the two in front of him before sighing and addressing them.

"Uro, Yuki."

""My lord""

"We'll be leaving this reality for a bit. Is everything set and stone?"

"Yes sir, contingency plans prepare for upwards of a 5 year absence."

"Management has been designated to a group of well thought individuals who follow you fervently."

"Well, say goodbye to this universe."

(Activating Multiversal Travel)

He grabbed the two of them by the hands and watched the screen in front of him.
