Arthur could sense there was more to Xiao's words, but before he could ask, something caught his attention.
From the side, a red horse suddenly dashed forward. Riding on it was a woman dressed in a white gown.
Her face was wrapped in white gauze, making it clear she had suffered serious injuries. However, despite that, she sat firmly on the horse, showing no signs of weakness.
Xiao pointed at her and said,
"That's the princess of this country. Her name is Alice, and she's the daughter of the new king, Ike. Even though she's Ike's daughter, Alice is actually a kind person."
There was a glimmer in Xiao's eyes as she spoke, showing she truly believed in what she said.
At that moment, Princess Alice reached the city gate. She signaled the soldiers to open it, and once they did, she calmly walked inside.
Arthur watched her go and then turned to Xiao.
"I noticed that she doesn't seem to have the ability to float in the air. Does that mean she's not originally from your island? Or is it that only people from here can fly?"
Xiao nodded in confirmation.
"Yes, that's right. Only the people of our island have the ability to float."
As she spoke, a hint of sadness appeared on her face. The castle that once belonged to the old king was now heavily guarded by soldiers, standing firmly on the ground.
This meant that the original kingdom had already fallen long ago. The so-called new king was nothing more than a pirate who had taken over and declared himself ruler.
Arthur had never heard of the name "Ike" before. He had been to the Blue Sea once, but back then, the only names that truly stood out were powerful figures like Whitebeard.
He had even spoken with Roger and a few others, but times had changed. Now, in this new generation, the only well-known name he recognized was Luffy. Because of this, Arthur didn't really understand much about the current era.
He turned to Xiao and asked,
"Can you tell me more about Ike? What kind of abilities does he have? If I meet him later, I'd rather not be caught off guard. It's always better to be prepared."
Hearing this, Xiao thought for a moment before answering.
"Ike has the ability to transform into a giant crow. Every single one of his feathers can create powerful explosions. When he attacked our floating island, he used this ability to wipe out our entire army. That's how he managed to take over."
Arthur listened carefully and nodded in thought. Explosions strong enough to destroy an army were indeed dangerous for ordinary people.
However, to Arthur, such an ability wasn't a real threat.
After all, he controlled something far more powerful—lightning itself.
