The Great Flood is mentioned in both Eastern and Western myths, as well as in the legends of other tribes. The story mainly comes from the Bible, which tells of a great flood sent by God that submerged the entire world. Fortunately, Noah's Ark carried a few people and some animals, allowing human civilization to survive. In Western mythology, the earliest account of the Great Flood can be found in Sumerian mythology. This civilization existed around 4500 BC, but the flood in their myth is said to have occurred around 2300 BC. The story of Atrahasis tells of a great flood in the Mesopotamian plain. It is a myth from an ancient civilization about a major flood in that region. Other myths, such as those in Greek mythology, the Bible, the Book of Enoch, and Indian mythology, also mention the Great Flood. Although the timeframes of these floods vary, the time span mentioned in these myths does not exceed a thousand years. Moreover, the descriptions of time in these myths are not very precise. It can be determined that the Great Floods in various parts of the Northern Hemisphere occurred around the same time. Although they might not have been the same flood, the causes were likely the same, with the floods reaching different places at different times. In the ancient Chinese mythological story "The Transmission of the Gods," Ma Gu witnessed three times when the sea turned into farmland and then back into the sea. This implies that China might have experienced more than one flood. In Eastern myths, Yu the Great managed to control the Great Flood. However, people still feel uneasy when they think about it because in their myths, the Great Flood was a world-ending disaster. People have been studying this matter. But why do so many myths mention the Great Flood? Could it be that there was indeed a massive flood that submerged the entire world a long time ago? Or, to put it another way, the "Great Flood" mentioned in those myths might not have been a natural disaster at all, but rather something deliberately caused by someone, a catastrophe that the ancients were unable to resist. Regarding the Great Flood, in principle, it was man-made, or rather, it was not created by humans. It was a disaster created by the Creator to clear away the old civilization. Apart from the similar timing, the causes of the Great Flood were basically the same. In China, it was continuous rain and frequent floods. But in other myths, the Great Flood was said to be caused by the "God" getting angry and pouring water onto the earth, resulting in a disaster. The actual reason is that when creating species, if the Creator found that a species was not suitable for the continuation and reproduction of their civilization and could not provide a clear and strong soul, then that species had no meaning of existence. The simplest way was to eliminate it with some kind of "weapon," whether it was a heavy rain, a virus, or even a more powerful weapon. In principle, as long as the weapon could be injected into the species' genetic backdoor, the species would die out. And this weapon was the rain, and any creature that came into contact with the weapon in the rain would die due to the collapse of its genes. As for the human ark, it contained the genetic inheritance of all species. In other words, any species that did not contain the genes killed by the weapon survived.
