I appeared near my allies and said,"The plans have changed. Now, it's better we prepare to face the leaders of this organization." — I stated,
feeling my inner energy and Soul Energy gradually recover.
"Who's going?" — I asked, glancing at everyone.
My mother was the first to respond.With the smile of a tigress, she spoke with visible ferocity:
"I am. I want to beat those bastards. I need to at least hit one of them.""Of course." — I nodded lightly.
The next to speak was the Professor:"I'll go, and I'll take someone with me. Since they have a telepath, it's best that I focus on dealing with her."
"I'll go with the Professor," declared Colossus, his voice firm.
But, surprisingly, my mother intervened:"No. Storm, you go with him. It's better that way."
Her intervention left everyone puzzled.
The Professor and I exchanged a meaningful glance... It seemed my mother knew something.None of us questioned her.
We simply nodded.
