Villager 17-"Honey, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay"
Villager 50-"Sweetie? Yeah I'm alright. (Yawn) Where am I?"
Villager 17-"We are in a shelter for everyone who fell unconscious"
Villager 50-"I was unconscious? How long was I out for?"
Villager 17-"About six days"
Villager 50-"Six days!? What happened?"
Villager 17(crying)-"Some people said that it was Lucious. Oh, I was so worried about you! I thought you might never wake up"
Villager 50(crying)I'm so sorry, I never should have made you worry like that"
Villager 17(crying)-"It wasn't your fault! I love you so much!"
Villager 50(crying)-"I love you too!"
Villager 17 and 50 hug while still crying.
Villager 24-"They're finally waking up"
Villager 2-"Only a couple people have woken up so far, who knows how long it will take the others"
Villager 35-"Now we know they are waking up though, it can't be much longer until the rest of them wake up"
Villager 24-"Now-"
Villager 24 walks up to the crying couple.
Villager 24-"Now, tell me, what do you remember about Lucious?"
Villager 50-"Who?"
The main group has heard the news from one of the villagers. They are now heading to shelter to see the people who woke up.
Marigold-"I'm so glad that they are ok"
Damion-"They were asleep so long I thought they would never wake up"
Julius-"We should feel lucky they were only asleep for a few days, they could have been out for much longer"
Joe-"Not everyone has woken up yet, we don't know how long it will take for the others to wake up"
Elise-"Hopefully all the rest will wake up either today or tomorrow"
Adam-"It shouldn't be too much longer, they all fell asleep for the same reason"
Marigold-"It could be possible that they might stay asleep longer depending on how many of their memories were altered by Lucious"
Julius-"That makes sense, the more memories that were altered the more repairs their brain has to go through"
Joe-"How much altering would Lucious have done to them?"
Marigold-"It couldn't have been much, a few memories here and there would have been enough for most people"
Adam-"For me and Elise it felt like he was in way more of our memories"
Julius-"It only takes a couple experiences with a person to consider them a close friend. We've all only known each other for a short time and yet I already consider ourselves close friends"
Adam-"That is true. Although the experiences we've gone through is more intense than some people do in their entire lives"
Joe-"I'm glad we had these last few days to rest"
Marigold-"These past few days may have been easy for you but they were terrible for the villagers"
Joe-"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend"
Marigold-"It's okay, I'm just saying because you have to be careful. They are probably still suspicious of us"
The group arrives in front of the building that the unconscious people are staying at.
Villager 24-"You're finally here. Took you long enough"
Marigold-"Hello Gerson, How many of the people have woken up so far?"
Gerson-"About half of them. Are the rest of them going to wake up soon?"
Julius-"It shouldn't take much longer, but we can't be certain"
Gerson looks at Julius with a mix of disscontempt and confusion.
Gerson-"What are you anyway, are you actually a person?"
Julius-"Um, yeah I'm a person. It's complicated. Think of me as a... sentient piece of, sand or something of that size"
Gerson-"Whatever, we asked them after they woke up. We kept hearing the same thing"
Adam-"Asked them what?"
Gerson-"We asked them what they remembered about Lucious, most of them didn't know who he was. Even after we explained to them who Lucious was they couldn't remember him"
Marigold-"That makes sense, although how come some of them remembered?"
Gerson-"Some of them recalled moments of seeing Lucious but they never felt very close to them. People who previously considered Lucious a friend now only remember him as somebody who just lived nearby"
Marigold-"Removing his spell wouldn't have removed all memories of Lucious from them. It would have only removed the fake memories he implanted into their minds"
Gerson-"So far what you have said seems to be true. We asked them questions about other people in the town and they remembered them"
Adam-"Do you want us to talk to them?"
Gerson-"No. I still don't trust you people"
Julius-"What do you want us to do then?"
Gerson-"Go back to that absurd house you built. You're not leaving until every person has woken up"
Damion-"We don't know how long that will take"
Gerson-"Well too bad, this is your fault so you're all staying"
Damion-"Why are you in charge of that?"
Marigold-"Damion!"
Gerson-"I especially don't trust you, I could tell you were shady the moment I met you"
Damion-"I mean you can't stop us from leaving though, also... I'm not shady"
Gerson-"You're right, I can't stop you from leaving. But if you don't want the people here, including me, to hate you even more than we already do. I suggest you stay a bit longer"
Damion-"Are you suggesting we stay or telling us to stay?"
Adam-"In this case it's both Damion"
Damion-"Huh?"
Marigold-"Let's just go back to the house now"
The group begins to walk back to the house while Gerson crosses his arms.
Joe-"That guy really didn't like us"
Marigold-"Let's keep the talking down until we get back"
Elise-"I hope we aren't stuck here for too long, ping pong is fun, but beating up monsters is better"
Julius-"I'm sure everyone else will be awake by tomorrow"
Adam-"Well, one last game sis?"
Elise-"You're on looser"
Marigold sighs.
