I look at the Elder in front of me with an unreadable face. If he is using Senjutsu, he will shut up because of how angry and furious I am.
"For this! I declare an Honor Battle between him and a Champion of my choosing!"
I hold back anger from leaving my throat. I know what this bastard wants. My passive ability of Senjutsu already informs me that he is a weasel who is lying through his teeth and planning something.
And I know the reason why he is doing this.
He does not want me to marry Yasaka and thinks that whoever the champion he is picking will be able to defeat me in the Honor Battle.
"And what did you put in this battle, Elder Fuchen?"
Yasaka leaned over, her chakra and touki leaking from her body. She is angry, furious, and mad all at once, but she is able to hold them back. One wrong word, and she will explode. Literally. She will survive, but the surroundings will be in flames, and the area will be ravaged by her anger.
"What? You think that you can declare an Honor Battle without putting something on the line, Elder Fuchen?"
The Mouse Youkai looks at Yasaka and decides to choose his words carefully. He knows that he is on thin ice and that a wrong move will cost him dearly.
"What do you want, Mistress Yasaka? What do you want me to put on the line?"
"Everything."
"What?"
"Everything. You ask this Honor Battle with the chance of you taking everything from us. It is fair for us to ask for the same, right? Money! Political power! Knowledge! Everything! Not only you, but your entire fucking clan. Are you willing to put them on the line?!"
The mouse youkai looks at her with a fearful expression.
"T-There is no—"
Before he can say something, I can feel something powerful, ancient, and massive coming from the sky. I look up and see a beam of light appear in between all of us. A second later, I see a beautiful woman wearing an expensive and elegant white kariginu with an elaborately tied sash, nagabakama, and a cloak wrapped around her hands.
She appears like a young woman with a petite appearance. She has light-colored skin, pale blonde hair, and silver eyes. On top of her head is a pair of fox ears, and I can see a whisker-like line on her cheeks.
When the others see her, they immediately kowtow in front of her.
"Welcome, Goddess Inari! We welcome you to our humble abode!"
Yasaka announced it to the world, and I blinked for a second at that information. Inari, huh? I shrug and decide to take the knee as well. What? There is nothing wrong with showing respect to someone stronger than you. Especially a Goddess of your future wife.
"Rise."
We stand up at her word, and I look at her curiously. I know we all wonder why she is here. I have a few things in mind, but I'm not sure if they are true.
"May we know the reason for your presence here, my lady?"
Yasaka is the first one to say something, and I watch as Inari looks her right in the eyes.
"Goddess Amaterasu declares that this Honor Battle shall be an official battle prepared by Takamagahara." She turns toward the mouse youkai and continues, "You shall put all you have, Isho Fuchen. By the order of Lady Amaterasu, you shall put everything you have, including everything your clan has."
I can see the Elder look at her, and a flicker of hesitation gets brighter in his eyes. If he declines this order, the Honor Battle will be cancelled, and he will be known as a coward, and I know Yasaka will kick him out of the Elder Council. If he agrees to this, he will put everything he and his clan have in this single battle.
However, to my surprise, he nods his head and says,
"Yes. I am more than willing to put everything on the line."
He must be confident in the champion he picks. I know that I am not the strongest fighter in the supernatural world, but I am not bad either. I confidently assert that I am among the Top 25% of the world. I wonder who he will choose.
"Very well. The Honor Battle shall start in two months. Pick your champion and…" Lady Inari looks at me and says. "Prepare for the upcoming battle, Chosen of Lord Tsukuyomi."
I nod and say.
"I will."
"Good."
She then looks around and says.
"This is now a Sacred Honor Battle! Anyone who dares to do anything stupid shall be judged and punished by the Rule of Heaven."
And I can feel, through my Senjutsu, some of them start to panic. It appears they will attempt something foolish. However, with the Gods watching, they cannot do anything overt and must resort to something subtle.
"In two months, the battle shall take place here. Let this order be carried and heard by all!"
After saying that, her body shines, and she disappears a few seconds later. Without hesitation, Yasaka pulls me away from the meeting room and takes me to her room. I sit on the couch, and Yasaka sits in front of me.
"Something is fishy."
"What? About Elder Fuchen? It is no longer fishy, Yasaka. There is a pile of shit in front of us. The smell stinks so badly that someone without a nose can smell it from kilometers away."
"Right. Truthfully, I am worried."
"About what? Is it about the champion he will choose?"
"Yes. He is not a powerful youkai, but he is old and has numerous connections. He has connections around the country and even the continent. There are many powerful fighters around the world. You are powerful, but his confidence makes me a little worried."
"Me too, Yasaka. However, I already plan to counter that. I think I will take a journey for a couple of weeks, or a day before the battle."
"Journey? Where? I don't know there—"
She stops when something clicks inside her head. She is among the few people who know about my Mare Ring ability.
"Yeah. I want to train, and this journey will equip me with the strength to overcome anything that man throws at me. However, I need to know the rules of Honor Battle. Can I go all out, or is it a Melee Duel only?"
"No. It is an all-out battle, with only summoning that is prohibited. You can go all out and use everything you have."
"What kind of summoning? Can I summon my Sword of Damocles?"
"Sadly, no. It is considered summoning. Only something you bring physically can be used in the fight."
"Then I know a perfect place for me to visit and train."
One Piece universe. That is the place to visit if you want to increase your physical strength. That place is full of monsters. According to Yamato's memory, the people in Grandline have stronger physical power than the people in the Naruto universe.
Chakra is a great tool that can increase one's strength, but what about the people in One Piece? Those people use pure strength to perform supernatural acts. Compressing air, punching air, kicking air to fly, and destroying mountains using your fist.
In that place, the greatest way to train is to fight. That means I need to visit Grandline and New World to train.
"Really? What will you do there? What kind of training will you take?"
I grin at her and say.
"I will be the greatest pirate the world has ever seen!"
She looks at me in confusion and says,
"Huh?"
