It was a call from Ruan Munan.
Xi Jiu: "Big brother's asking when we're coming back. He said it's too late, and if it's not convenient, we can stay overnight at the sect."
"I have to catch a schedule early tomorrow morning, so staying at the sect isn't convenient," Ruan Qi said as she jumped out of bed. "Jiujiu, let's go back now."
Since it was so late, Nie Beilou didn't want to hassle with leaving, so he and Chu Yujinag stayed at the sect.
Ruan Qi and Xi Jiu then drove back to Yu Garden.
Perhaps because she regained some memories, or maybe because she slept too much during the day, Ruan Qi didn't sleep soundly that night. In a half-awake state, she had many fragmented dreams.
In the dreams, she kept seeing a sea of flames. The fire was so intense, burning her heart with pain even through the dream.
Early the next morning, Ruan Qi forced herself out of bed.
