Ruan Qi: "..."
Ruan Xiaoqi felt utterly hopeless.
She silently pushed away the two mountains pressing down on her, then sat up from the floor and gave Grandpa Ruan and Grandma Ruan a look full of grievance.
...Grandpa Ruan and Grandma Ruan laughed even harder.
Thankfully, the Ruan family's elders remembered their granddaughter was related, and after only two minutes of laughter, they walked over to help her up.
"Grandma..." The girl whimpered as she nestled into Grandma Ruan's embrace.
Grandma Ruan's heart immediately melted.
"Oh my, why has my precious granddaughter gotten so much thinner?" She tenderly touched Ruan Qi's face, "Grandma will make you something delicious right away, Xiao Qi, you sit and rest. Old Ruan, hurry up and get into the kitchen to help me!"
The two elders promptly rolled up their sleeves and went into the kitchen.
Once again, Ruan Qi was left alone in the living room.
