He looked at Ruirui, standing at the window for an indeterminate amount of time, until Assistant Gao came to remind him, "Sir, Mr. Zhou invited you for tea. Shall we go?"
"Zhou Yixiu?"
"Yes."
Zhou Yixiu knew he had offended Qi Cheng before. Although the matter seemed to have passed, he still wanted to find a chance to apologize to Qi Cheng.
"Go. Why not?" Qi Cheng looked at Ruirui in his arms. The little one had been fussing for too long and now seemed utterly exhausted.
Qi Cheng carried Ruirui downstairs and handed him to the caretaker. He then instructed Assistant Gao, "Send Ruirui to Ji Yunhuan."
His suggestion stunned Assistant Gao for a moment: wasn't he opposed to Ruirui being with Ji Yunhuan?
"Aren't you afraid Ms. Ji will take Young Master Rui and leave?" And if Ruirui were with Ji Yunhuan, what excuse would Qi Cheng have to see Ji Yunhuan in the future?
"Can't you arrange for someone to keep an eye on them?" Qi Cheng glared at Assistant Gao, clearly exasperated.
