"Asshole, are you cursing me?" Phoenix said angrily.
"I'm simply reminding you not to drag others into this. They're innocent," Zhang Bin said.
"I insist on dragging you in. If that day comes, I will go to China to find you," Phoenix said with a sneer.
"Uh…" Zhang Bin touched his forehead. "Why would you come looking for me? I'm not your husband, nor have I done anything to wrong you."
"But you stole my subordinate, Peacock," Phoenix said coldly.
"Are you saying your subordinates can't get married? Peacock chose to be my woman of her own free will," Zhang Bin said indignantly.
Phoenix paid him no further attention and just silently gazed at the sun in the sky. She showed no sadness and no confusion, seeming to accept her fate calmly.
