Zhang Bin hung up the phone. With a thought, the Thunder God residing within his Purple Pool flew out. It didn't even try to flee and obediently landed in Zhang Bin's palm.
Upon closer inspection, one could see it hadn't grown at all; it looked like a newly hatched chick.
"Listen up, little one," Zhang Bin said in a tempting tone. "The Thunder Pool in my ear is damaged, and I need you to go in and fix it. I'll reward you greatly for it!"
The Thunder God tilted its head to look at Zhang Bin for a moment, then suddenly transformed into a ray of red light. In a flash, it shot into the ordinary Thunder Pool in Zhang Bin's right ear.
CRACKLE! CRACKLE!
The Lightning Talismans continued to shatter, and the cracks kept widening.
It was clear they had been too heavily damaged by the terrifying Red Thunder to recover on their own.
I hope the Thunder God can repair it. Otherwise, I'm really done for.
