The spiritual power stored in the Sea of Consciousness has no attribute, and using spiritual power directly can release spells of various types. However, because this spiritual power is attribute-less, the spells or divine skills that can be released are merely simple low-order constructs.
Once a Path Crystal is formed, it's completely different. They represent the manifestation and transformation of the Five Elements Path. When attribute-less spiritual power is converted through the Path Crystal, it transforms into the corresponding power of the five elements, releasing respective spells and divine skills with enhanced power and the ability to release more complex and mystical divine skills.
