Shirley Miller nodded, looking at Carson Flores who seemed a bit uncomfortable, her gaze soft and smile warm: "Sit down, why are you standing?"
"Alright."
Carson replied, sitting down beside Shirley Miller.
In the small courtyard, there were only Carson and Shirley, after discussing matters, everyone else went back to their own places, leaving space for the two who hadn't met for a long time.
Shirley Miller stared into Carson's eyes and chuckled: "Why do you look like that, afraid I'll be angry?"
Carson nodded slightly awkwardly, with more than one woman by his side, his guilt towards Shirley was the deepest.
Because of guilt and remorse, he feared Shirley would be angry.
Shirley reached out and held Carson's hand, pursing her lips with a smile: "Alright, if you're afraid I'll be angry, that means you still have me in your heart."
Carson affirmed: "Of course I do, no one can compare to your place in my heart."
