Ten days passed in the blink of an eye.
The comatose Cora Tate finally woke up.
The spirit-healing mud on Cora Tate's face fell off automatically as she opened her eyes in wonder, looking around.
"Jonah Arnold?"
Jonah Arnold, who was sitting cross-legged in vigil nearby, opened his eyes and stood up in surprise: "Ancestor, you're awake?"
Cora Tate made a sound of acknowledgment: "Where is this place?"
Jonah Arnold replied: "We're inside Carson Flores's magical treasure, the Palace of Seven Beauties. On our way back, we were ambushed by the Heavenly Alliance. If Carson hadn't risked his life to save us, we might have all ended up captured by them."
Cora Tate frowned, her eyes suddenly filled with a sharp killing intent: "They actually dared to strike against Thousand Flowers Palace?"
Jonah Arnold smiled bitterly: "The ambushers were led by a Heavenly Immortal... Ancestor, how are you feeling now?"
Cora Tate's gaze fell on the mud covering her body: "What is this on me?"
