Shirley Miller stood in the center of the room, pacing back and forth, looking uneasy.
She clutched the condensed version of the Palace of Seven Beauties in her hand, which Carson Flores had given her before he appeared.
Suddenly, a flash of light seemed to burst from the Palace of Seven Beauties, and the air was filled with a strong fluctuation of Spiritual Energy, as an elliptical light sphere, taller than a person, appeared out of thin air in the room.
In the flicker of light, Carson stepped out from the light sphere.
Shirley's eyes lit up, and the heart that had been hanging in suspense suddenly relaxed, she let out a long breath.
"Are you okay?"
Carson glanced around, casually threw a soundproofing spell, then spoke, "I'm fine, she's stranded nearly three thousand miles away, now bombing the mountains wildly, trying to dig me out…"
Shirley looked at him admiringly, "She doesn't know you already escaped?"
