Archie Cooke's face was as dark as storm clouds. He gritted his teeth but dared not act out.

With helplessness, Archie apologized, "It was my words that were out of line and offended Daoist Flores. I'm sorry, please forgive me."
Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Archie admitted defeat and apologized. Naturally, Carson couldn't keep kicking someone when they were down, or it would be unbecoming. After all, the agreement was to determine superiority, not fight to the death.
Carson smiled lightly: "Let that be the end of it. Farewell."
Not wanting to waste time arguing, Carson turned and walked away cleanly, heading back to the city.
Archie stared at Carson's confident retreating figure, biting his teeth hard but remaining speechless.
