Chapter 307 - Chapter 305: A Perfect Family Picnic

The morning sun shone brightly over Pallet Town as Ash and his family stepped out of the Ketchum residence, ready for their long-awaited picnic. Ash carried a large basket filled with delicious food he had prepared sandwiches, fresh salads, grilled meats, berry tarts, and plenty of cold drinks. Cynthia walked beside him, one hand gently resting on her four-month pregnant belly, while the other held his arm. Misty, Sabrina, Daisy, and Giselle followed closely, all dressed in their cute casual summer dresses.

"Mr. Mime, we're leaving the house in your care!" Ash called back with a wave.

Mr. Mime stood proudly at the doorway, striking a dramatic pose. "Mime Mime!" it replied confidently, already tidying up the living room with psychic power.

Amber skipped ahead excitedly, holding Togepi in her arms while Mew and Clefairy floated and bounced beside her. Pikachu rode on Ash's shoulder, and Eevee trotted happily at his feet.

The group walked a short distance to one of Pallet Town's most beautiful spots a lush green meadow beside a sparkling lake, shaded by tall trees with gentle hills all around. The water reflected the clear blue sky, and wild flowers bloomed everywhere. It was the perfect place for a peaceful family day.

They spread out a large blanket under a big oak tree. Ash set down the basket while the girls helped arrange the food. The spread looked incredible golden sandwiches, colorful salads, juicy fruits, and sweet desserts.

"Wow, Ash! This looks amazing!" Misty exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she sat down.

Sabrina smiled softly. "You really put a lot of love into this."

Daisy leaned back on her hands, enjoying the breeze. "It's perfect. Just what we needed after the long journey."

Giselle nodded shyly. "Thank you for doing all this, Master Ash."

Cynthia gently touched Ash's hand. "You always take such good care of us."

Ash grinned. "Anything for my girls."

They began eating, sharing food and laughter. Ash made sure to serve Cynthia first, giving her extra portions of the things she liked. She ate with a contented smile, occasionally feeding Ash a bite in return.

After some time, Ash turned to Misty. He pulled her closer and they sat together watching the lake. "Remember our first journey together? Feels like so long ago."

Misty leaned her head on his shoulder. "Yeah… You've come so far, Ash. I'm really proud to be with you." They shared a quiet, sweet moment as Misty told him how much the Orange Islands trip meant to her.

Next, Ash moved over to Sabrina. He held her hand gently. "You've been so calm and strong through everything. I don't know what I'd do without you." Sabrina's violet eyes softened as they talked about the quieter moments they shared during battles and travels. She rested against him peacefully, enjoying his warmth.

Daisy was next. Ash playfully pulled her into a hug. "You always know how to keep things fun and light." They laughed together as Daisy teased him about old memories and shared her dreams for the future. Her cheerful energy made the moment bright and warm.

With Giselle, Ash was extra gentle. He kissed her forehead. "You've opened up so much. I'm really happy you're part of our family now." Giselle blushed deeply but smiled, leaning into him as they talked about her growth and how she felt more at home every day.

Cynthia received special attention. Ash sat behind her, wrapping his arms around her protectively, hands resting gently on her belly. "How are our little ones today?" he whispered. Cynthia sighed happily. "They're kicking a lot. They must know their dad is here." They shared tender words about their future as parents, creating a deeply intimate and loving moment.

Amber, not wanting to be left out, ran over. "Big brother! Play with me!"

Ash laughed and stood up. "Of course! Let's go!" He picked Amber up and spun her around, making her squeal with delight. They played tag across the meadow while Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi, Mew, and Clefairy joined in.

The Pokémon were having their own grand adventure. Pikachu and Eevee raced each other around the trees, dodging and weaving playfully. Togepi toddled after them, giggling. Mew floated around, using Psychic to make flowers dance in the air, while Clefairy clapped and tried to copy Mew's tricks. At one point, Pikachu used a small Thunderbolt to zap a berry off a tree, and Eevee caught it perfectly with her mouth, sharing it with everyone.

Amber rode on Ash's shoulders as he ran, pretending to be a Pokémon trainer on a big adventure. "Go, big brother! Faster!" The laughter from both the humans and Pokémon filled the meadow.

Later, the whole group played together. They skipped stones on the lake, with Ash teaching Amber the perfect technique. Cynthia watched from the blanket, smiling warmly as Misty and Daisy cheered her on. Sabrina used her psychic powers to make a few flowers float around Amber, making her giggle. Giselle joined Ash in a gentle game of catch with the Pokémon.

As the sun climbed higher, they returned to the blanket for more food and stories. Ash lay down with his head in Cynthia's lap while the other girls surrounded them. They talked about their dreams Misty wanting to improve as a Water Pokémon specialist, Sabrina exploring her powers further, Daisy documenting beautiful places, Giselle growing stronger, and Cynthia looking forward to raising their children.

The Pokémon napped peacefully around them Pikachu curled up on Ash's chest, Eevee beside Misty, Togepi in Amber's arms, Mew and Clefairy floating lazily overhead.

It was a perfect, wholesome day filled with love, laughter, and family bonding. No battles, no missions ust pure happiness under the Pallet Town sky.

As the afternoon sun began to soften, Ash looked at everyone with deep gratitude. "I'm really lucky to have all of you."

The girls smiled back at him, their hearts full.

This was exactly what they needed a beautiful reminder of why they fought so hard and loved so deeply.
