He had arrived through a Hiraishin mark his clone had left outside the house, and after scanning the place with the Eyes of the God Who Sees All, he entered using Soru — but it seemed he hadn't been fast enough.
Micael then turned his gaze away from Asia, his eyes landing on the other one staring at him with a mix of interest and amusement.
His dark brown eyes met the eyes of the one he would have to kill.
"Hah? And who the hell are you?" Freed was the first to break the momentary silence caused by his arrival.
But Micael didn't give him any verbal response.
His body leaned slightly as his barefoot touched the ground, his thigh flexed when he used Soru.
Shoosh!
Thud!
Appearing in front of Freed, his foot hit him with a resounding impact, though not a clean strike since Freed blocked it with his forearm.
Being pushed back forcefully, Freed slid through nearby furniture until slamming into the wall.
Thud! Crack!
Wooden splinters flew as his back hit the wall near the corpse, which swayed in response, almost swinging to the other side.
Landing smoothly on the floor, Micael looked towards Freed, that kick hadn't been weak, with Demon Back already activated at full power, he had used Tekkai on his leg, but it felt like kicking something really hard.
'Was he really that strong? I don't remember anything, but something still feels off here.' With Micael's eyes staring at him while Freed curiously examined his own forearm, he then looked sideways toward Asia.
"We didn't introduce ourselves last time we met, did we? My name is Micael, what's your name?" He looked at her, meeting her stunned face.
Asia just stared at him for a moment, the abrupt change in events still processing in her brain until she registered his question. "A-Asia Argento." she murmured faintly, her eyes blinking in a daze.
"Nice to meet you, Asia, by the way, his name is Issei." Micael pointed behind him toward Issei, who looked just as stunned.
Still processing, Asia looked at Issei and then back at Micael, blinking quickly while stammering, "Ah, uh, nice to meet you."
Nodding in response, Micael noticed how she still kept her hand on her reddened cheek, but not touching the subject nor healing her, he shifted his focus back to Freed while speaking to her. "If you're okay, get up, you're coming with me."
His words made Issei widen his eyes and murmur a surprised 'What?' while the girl herself looked at him with the same reaction.
"W-what? Why?" Asia was once again stunned.
"I'll explain later." Micael watched as Freed, who until then had been strangely fascinated by his own forearm, finally refocused on them.
His lips curved into a huge grin that appeared on his face. "Hey hey, you're really rude, huh!? You don't even ask my name and already start attacking me, at least greet me too! Besides, that bit-"
And he ended up getting interrupted by Micael's sudden attack.
Thud! Crack!
This time breaking the wall, the strong smell of the nearby corpse's blood reached Micael's nose as his fist pressed against Freed's block, both of them bursting into the next room.
Freed skidded, pushing more furniture before stopping. "Hey! Don't interrup-" His words were cut off by another charge from Micael.
Shoosh!
But unlike the two previous times, this time Freed didn't block, his body tilted as he dodged to the side. "You piece of shit!" he shouted furiously as his foot moved in a blur.
Thud!
With a cross block, the kick hit Micael's left forearm while this time he skidded backwards until slamming into the wall against the hole they had made.
Looking at his forearm, Micael thought analytically. 'He's stronger than Saji.' His eyes returned to Freed's irritated face. 'Now, exactly how strong is he?'
"Fuck! You interrupted me again!" Freed exclaimed while reaching into his coat and pulling the hilt of a sword. "I'm going to gut you and make you eat your guts back, you damn filthy traitor!"
Micael just kept his eyes on him with no expression on his face. "What's your name?"
"Huh!? Now you wanna know!?" Freed's arms opened abruptly as he exaggeratedly tilted his head. "Alright you scum, pay attention." He loudly pointed to himself while grinning wide. "My name is Freed Sel-"
Shoosh!
"Shit!" Dodging a punch that passed near his face, Freed raised the hilt of the sword which lit up with a blade of light appearing. "I'm gonna kill you!"
Dodging the sword strike unnaturally with a Kami-e, Micael's red-ringed, slit-pupil eyes locked onto Freed as his fist approached again.
But this time it was covered in a purple aura with yellow sparks.
Freed only had time to widen his eyes upon sensing the danger before the punch hit his chest.
Thud!! Crack!
A gust of wind spread out, pushing furniture even farther, curtains flapping and windows shaking as Micael's fist, empowered by Offensive Shaori and Ripple, sent Freed flying.
Crack!
He broke through the wall into the other side, his body rolling across the grassy yard before stopping abruptly as he placed his hand on the ground.
"Cough! cough!" Coughing briefly, Freed stood up while wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Fucking scum." His face now even more contorted with rage.
Ignoring him, Micael looked at his own fist. 'I broke his ribs but…' His eyes returned to Freed. 'That's apparently all the damage I did.'
Sure, Freed's organs should be pretty damaged by now, but the fact he was still alive was already ridiculous.
Offensive Shaori and Ripple were both internal energy attacks, Freed's organs should've turned to mush, yet he only coughed up a bit of blood.
Thinking of a possibility, Micael deactivated the Emperor Eye and activated the chakra vision of the Byakugan, veins popping around his eyes.
'Yeah, looks like I was right.' What he saw confirmed his suspicion, in Freed's human-shaped form, the color filling him wasn't blue but a dark white, though a light blue hue was visible around the edges.
And wanting to confirm another hypothesis, he adjusted the vision, his eyes seeing Freed's organs, once again proving he was right. 'He's not just stronger than expected, he's got energy probably from fallen angels, and this thing can even heal him.'
An unexpected development, or maybe something canon that he didn't know. 'Don't tell me this guy's stronger than Raynare?' Micael then deactivated the Byakugan and reactivated the Emperor Eye.
'Killing him will be harder than I initially thought, maybe I'll have to use the same attack I used on those cultists.' Not wasting any more time, his foot touched the ground as he used Soru, but instead of advancing, he shifted to the side to dodge a shot.
A light bullet silently passed through where he'd just been, coming from the barrel of the gun on Freed's raised arm.
"You damn bat-lover!" Screaming furiously, Freed fired rapidly trying to hit Micael's blurred form. "I'm gonna stick my sword up your ass and gut you from the inside out, you filthy worm!"
"Hah." Exhaling faintly in amusement, Micael thought this guy had quite the colorful vocabulary.
Stopping his dodging, Micael approached Freed and blocked the shots with his forearm momentarily hardened by Tekkai, then attacked with a punch that Freed narrowly dodged.
"Arrgh!" With a guttural scream, Freed swung his other arm with the sword downward toward Micael.
Dodging by compressing himself unnaturally, Micael punched him again, this time with Shaori and Ripple.
Sweating coldly, Freed struggled to dodge, but seeing the punch would hit his torso again, he changed tactics.
"Hah!" With a shout, a pulse of dark white light burst from his body omnidirectionally, pushing Micael back and canceling his attack.
Micael skidded with his bare feet, tearing up the grass until he was again against the broken wall.
As Freed breathed deeply, Micael took a step forward intending to continue the attack, but a voice stopped him for a moment.
"Micael."
Looking back through the hole, Micael saw Issei's nervous face with a worried Asia behind him.
Turning his eyes back to Freed, Micael just barely saw him raising his arm, a dark light forming in his hand and quickly turning into a spear.
With a big maniacal grin on his face, Freed hurled it. "Die!"
Boom!
A sonic boom sounded, and the spear moved too fast for Micael to track with the Emperor Eye.
However, the spear still failed to pierce him as his hands quickly moved in front of him to catch it, his body being pushed by the impact and crashing through another wall.
His feet skidded along the ground until he stopped just centimeters in front of a stunned Issei and Asia.
"A-are you okay?" Issei asked, sweating bullets, Micael's back right in front of him. If he hadn't stopped that attack, he and Asia would've ended up as skewers.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Micael replied, looking at the tip of the spear that pierced slightly through his shirt and skin, a Magatama spinning lazily in his now red iris with veins popped around the eyes.
Pushing the spear away, he clenched his hands, causing the spear to break and dissolve into light particles. Taking a deep breath and channeling Ripple, the injuries on his hands and forearms healed as his eyes returned to Emperor Eye.
Focusing on Freed, who stared at him with disgust and irritation, Micael was about to resume the attack when a red light from behind caught his attention.
Looking out of the corner of his eye, he saw Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko appear.
"Sorry we're late." Rias said, approaching him.
"It's okay." Barely a minute had passed since he'd arrived. "I'll explain what's going on later, for now, let's take this girl with us." Micael said, slightly pointing at Asia as his eyes returned to Freed.
Following Micael's gesture, Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko looked at her, the girl nervously meeting their eyes and waving back. "H-hello."
Turning her gaze to Micael, Rias had questions but knowing him, he wouldn't say something like that without a good reason. Still, there was something she seemed to have to remind him. "She can't come with us, Micael, she's a nun."
Given the girl's outfit, it wasn't hard for Rias to deduce she was the nun Micael and Issei had met a day earlier.
And the answer to her words came telepathically.
'She was expelled from the church.'
With Micael's voice echoing in her head, she didn't need to think hard to figure out how he knew. 'I see, in that case, we'll do as you say.' She ended up accepting his suggestion in the end.
'By the way, is there any problem if I kill that guy?'
Blinking for a moment, Rias focused on the white-haired young man staring at them with resentment and understood what Micael meant. 'No, even if he weren't an excommunicated priest, it still wouldn't be a problem if you killed him.' Given his outfit, it wasn't hard to deduce his status, and the energy of a fallen angel only confirmed it.
Receiving her answer, Micael wanted to ask how this situation differed from the one with that weirdo in a suit named Don-something, but since he didn't want to waste more time, he just accepted it. 'Okay.'
However, just as he took a step forward, he heard Akeno speak.
"Everyone, we've got company."
Looking at her, he saw she was staring at a wall to the side as if she could see through it. Following her gaze, Micael used the aura vision of the Eyes of All-Seeing God and saw four auras in the distance.
They were small points approaching rapidly, but it was the size of the auras that caught his focus, while two were familiar, the other two were unknown, with one being bigger than the other three.
'You've got to be kidding me…' Frowning, he was already imagining what he'd have to deal with next.
"Hahaha~ looks like my dear companions are almost here, now now, why don't you obedient little dogs just leave the bitch, yeah~?" Freed said, extending his arms and smiling brightly.
"As if that's gonna happen, you damn freak!" Issei was the one who responded, scowling at Freed with an annoyed face.
Freed only smiled even wider at him.
Micael kept staring in the direction the auras were coming from.
"Micael."
Looking at Rias who called him, she didn't need to say anything for him to understand. After a brief moment of silence, he sighed. "Alright, let's go."
Without waiting for more words, Rias immediately used teleportation magic, the familiar red magic circle appearing beneath them.
Freed widened his eyes upon seeing that. "No! You can't take her!"
Micael just looked at him calmly while Freed almost looked like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum in his vision. "And who's going to stop us?" His words had an immediate effect.
Freed's eyes widened even more, his voice turning shrill. "You piece of shit!" Pointing his sword at Micael, veins bulging in his neck as spit flew. "I swear I'll gut you! I'll rap-!"
But his words stopped abruptly as he felt a chilling shiver down his spine, his throat tightened and sweat dripped from his temple as he stared at Micael.
In his vision, Micael stared at him with a completely blank face and an emotionless gaze.
And he wasn't the only one who felt the change, behind Micael, the others felt a faint chill, the more familiar ones recognizing it.
'Killing intent?' Rias looked at Micael's side profile while feeling that vivid ominous sensation, even though it wasn't aimed at her, it was uncomfortable. She didn't expect Micael to already be able to do something like that.
Feeling for the first time an extremely strong desire to kill someone in the most cruel and brutal way possible, Micael let all his killing intent out because he was sure that if he hadn't interrupted Freed, whatever he was going to say next would've seriously pissed him off.
'Should I cast Amaterasu?...No, too risky.' While he was leaving, this thing about letting yet another enemy survive a confrontation with him was really irritating, but there wasn't much he could do.
He could cast Amaterasu, but even with Asia helping his recovery, he doubted he'd be back on his feet in less than a few months.
But just because he couldn't kill Freed didn't mean he couldn't seriously mess him up.
Raising his index and middle fingers, with only seconds left before the teleport activated, Micael pointed at him. "Mark my words, the next time I see you, I'll rape you with a tree trunk."
Saying that, Micael activated the ability he had in mind, veins bulging around his eyes with the recoil.
'Dismantle.'
Freed only had time to feel a chill on his nape as his body instinctively moved to the side but not fast enough.
Squesh!
With the sound of blood spraying and flesh being cut, Freed looked robotically at his severed right arm before letting out a miserable scream while grabbing the stump.
"Aaaaahhhhh!!!..."
Ignoring him, Micael looked upward just in time to see Raynare's furious face for a single second before he vanished.
The teleport activated and Micael along with all the others disappeared from the place.
