Ren stretched his back after working on his model for a few more hours. He was satisfied with how his work was coming together.
Nonetheless, he knew the peace wouldn't last long; Terim's curiosity was always waiting just beneath the surface, ready to erupt with questions as soon as Ren stopped working.
"How did you think of this lake?"
Ren chuckled at the enthusiastic kid, his eyes falling on the tiny 3d lake.
It was a Japanese-style lake, complete with bamboo structures for water flow.
Now, Ren possibly couldn't tell Terim it was based on something from his own world.
'Ren, say that you are ancient,' the little god suggested.
Ren was busy with Terim; hence he completely missed the cub's mischievous tone.
Without thinking, Ren blurted out, "I am ancient."
Terim blinked, "..."
Ren blinked back, "..."
The little god giggled as Ren glared at him. Clearing his throat, Ren quickly added, "I mean, I took inspiration from ancient times."
