"There are all kinds of weird abilities out there," Kidd complained, scrubbing through the playback, to find that the crowd of curse users had vanished into a massive plush, only for it to be swallowed by the ground below. And then, right before his eyes, a giant red cyclops head, straight out of myth, began to take shape from a mixture of blood smoke and curse energy.
"Trixie, target Ulysses. Divert power from the Cursenaughts and hit him at one hundred and twenty percent," Kidd ordered, eyeing the giant cyclops head floating before Ulysses, shielding him.
Sensing the array gearing up to fire again, Ulysses and the other Void-tiers tensed, unsure who it would target next. But when the Ash Tribulation descended, they stopped worrying—it was coming straight for Ulysses.
"Blood for blood!"
