We watched one of my favorites, old-timey sci-fi, with the lights turned off and snacks everywhere. It was like a sleepover, except in the air.
"What an idiot, that guy," Luna pointed at the screen. "He was warned and yet he jumped anyway."
"I have more of a problem with the physics... how the hell he cut off both arms and legs in that short amount of time period... am I wrong here, Stivastin?"
I was resting my head on Ranni's stomach and had all these conversations with my family before. These movies were precious for me; I hadn't seen a full one before the age of nine.
"It's totally possible. My mother and I could do it," I said, sounding more sure than I actually felt.
He took my words as money in the bank and just accepted it.
