I stopped, and Sistin looked confused at me. She, along with many others, followed my gaze, and then chaos erupted like a volcano. It spread to everyone in a matter of seconds. All these people were running, and I was just frozen—a mix of fear and anticipation. Thousand upon thousands of monsters would soon rain down upon us. I needed to see it.
Sistin, having a more level head, grabbed and dragged me away from the running madness. Remy materialized in front of us with a terrifyingly controlled expression.
"We need to evacuate immediately!"
Running away? Yes... yes, let's go. My sisters needed to get away. But what about Ranni and the others? With all those questions in my mind, I ripped my arm from Remy's grasp and spun around, looking up.
