It felt like a stray gust of cold wind had snuck into the house–Or at least, this is what Flor had assumed when she had suddenly woken up in the middle of the night. As per usual, her husband was in a deep sleep. She left the comforting protection and warmth of his strong body to go find what she suspected to be a door or window which had been closed incorrectly, but upon inspection, everything was tightly sealed as usual.
'...Weird. Did I imagine it in a dream or something?'
Flor stretched her arms… She checked everywhere just to make sure, as the last thing she would want was for any of her children to catch a cold. Aurelio was still young, and the twins were still just small babies. Flor couldn't allow them to get sick. She believed in Minli's skills, but any mother worth something would rather not take any risk.
Growing resistance was better done when your body was actually somewhat sturdy…
