The soldiers defending the city were hit with a surge of invigoration and heightened morale when the Death Knights appeared, no one knew of the existence of such knights, but it was obvious that they were here under the orders of the king, their strength seemed to be simply otherworldly.
Giant dirt-bloods who would have given trouble to most knights were slain in an instant by the blows of just a single one of these black knights, spreading out from the city walls, they pushed outwardly through the incoming waves of dirt-bloods, leaving only dismembered corpses and mists of blood in their wake.
All of those who had thought themselves doomed suddenly felt the complete opposite thing, thinking the city to be untouchable now that the warriors of the king had come to help them… But they were quickly brought back to reality as pillars of smog descended from the sky.
