Aksai frowned slightly at that thought.
"That's not for me," he said quietly.
Then there were the techniques he found most interesting.
Methods that treated the Poison Vein as more than just a vein.
These techniques used poison beast corpses as nourishment. The poison essence inside the bodies would be refined and fed into the Poison Vein. Over time, the vein would grow and change, becoming something close to a second Dantian.
A poison core.
Once formed, it could support Spirit spells. Fire spells could turn into poison flames. Wind spells could spread toxic fog. Even simple attacks could become deadly with poison mixed in.
Aksai slowly looked at the corpses in front of him.
"Waste not want not," he murmured to himself.
He could feel it clearly. His Poison Vein was already close to the next step. It only needed guidance. Structure. A clear path.
Aksai closed his eyes and took a deep breath before speaking out loud, seemingly to nobody in particular.
