"Your water broke?"
When Lu Shaoyuan heard what Luo Yao said, he didn't react right away. Once it sank in, he shot to his feet in excitement. "What? You said your water broke?"
"Yeah! I… I'm a little scared…"
Luo Yao's face had gone pale with fear. She hadn't expected her water to suddenly break without any warning at all.
"Don't be scared, I'm here!"
Lu Shaoyuan forced himself to stay calm as he picked Luo Yao up and set her on the sofa. He turned and called to Yan Ruoxi, "Mom, Yao'er's water broke! I'll call the hospital right now!"
"Luo Yao, your water broke?"
Yan Ruoxi immediately tensed up. "Don't panic, don't panic, I'll go grab Luo Yao's hospital bag. We're going straight to the hospital!"
They hadn't been eating lunch for very long, and all the adults were thrown into chaos by Luo Yao's sudden water breaking. Only the kids kept eating, completely unaware.
