Early the next morning, Lu Shaoqing was getting ready to go out. He stood by the bed putting on his clothes, fastening his cufflinks. Mi Xiaotao was sleeping soundly on the bed. He knew she was exhausted from last night, so he decided not to wake her and let her continue to sleep.
Before leaving, he leaned down and gave her a light kiss on the forehead, whispering, "Wife, I love you!"
Mi Xiaotao was in a deep sleep, yet his whisper seemed to have disturbed her sweet dream, causing her to pout and snuggle a little.
He chuckled, turned around, and while tying his tie, walked out of the room.
Xiang Yang was already waiting in the living room. Upon seeing Lu Shaoqing come out, he immediately stood up and said, "Boss, let's hurry up. The meeting will start in half an hour!"
