The director looked at Xiaoli. She hadn't seen her visit the orphanage before, but judging by her attire, she wasn't from an ordinary family.
"Director, this is my daughter, Xi'er!"
Yan Ruoxi smiled and said to the director, "The reason I came to the orphanage years ago to look for children was because my Xi'er was taken away. After more than twenty years, I've finally found her!"
"Congratulations, Mrs. Lu, on finding your daughter!"
The director glanced somberly at the children playing joyfully in the yard and said, "Some of these children were abandoned by their parents, and some were brought here by the police. Who knows when they can reunite with their parents!"
"They will! In fact, every parent loves their child. There must be some compelling reason if they abandon them!"
Yan Ruoxi patted the director on the shoulder to comfort her, "Director, don't worry too much, just let it be."
