Zarqa's life was anything but easy from that moment on.
For once, although Ayla herself was willing to, at least, try to trust her, Wael was not.
He was yet convinced that she had some ulterior motive, that she wasn't as innocent as she might seem, and that her aloof character and lack of words were all the more suspicious.
Her having to be around Arslan all the time meant that she had to share the small space around the prince with him. And he didn't hesitate to make his disgruntlement obvious.
" Give me the slightest reason, one wrong move, and I'm cutting your hand before you could do anything to the young master," was his threat to her.
Needless to say, Zarqa was unfazed by it, for she did not bear any ill intentions for the prince.
Still, the presence of someone wielding a spear and ready to slash at her at any moment wasn't exactly what one would call comfortable.
