Seeing Jiu Li head towards the elevator as soon as she exited the door, Su Yan immediately called out to stop her.
"Why take the elevator, Drooling Fox? Just Fly in the air over there—it's faster and less tiring."
"Master, I can't fly," she said, turning to gaze at her master with a pitiful look. Her voice was overly saccharine, tinged with a hint of coquettishness.
Su Yan couldn't stand listening to her. He felt as though electric currents were running wildly through his body, or ants were crawling all over his skin. His entire body shuddered.
After a moment of physical discomfort, Su Yan looked at Jiu Li with annoyance and snapped, "Would it kill you to stop speaking in that sickening tone?"
Jiu Li continued in her whiny, coquettish manner, "Master, I am a Fox Demon, after all." All the while, she was finding it secretly amusing.
