After clearing out the zombies in the research institute, Wang Tao led a group of people to search for research data.
Forget about finding data on the Ancestral Virus, even other data were extremely scarce. There wasn't much paper material left, and the computers were all broken... A suicide note gave Wang Tao a rough idea of the situation here.
At the outbreak of the apocalypse, people at this research institute had very bad luck. Someone inside was infected, and the entire institute was almost wiped out. Although a few survivors made it, they didn't survive past three days and eventually died. This suicide note was left by one of those survivors... so they had no time to research the Zombie Virus.
"Sigh..."
Wang Tao sighed.
He felt sorry for the researchers and was disappointed for not being able to find the data he needed.
But it wasn't a big issue. Even though he didn't find the Ancestral Virus data, he gained a lot along the way, which he counted as a worthwhile trip.
