On the other end of the phone, there was a laugh altered by a voice changer: "Hehe, Boss Yin, you called the police, didn't you?"
"No!" Yin Feisong insisted, as was agreed beforehand. He needed to treat the kidnapper like a girlfriend, knowing that even a false promise was better than sincere confrontation.
The kidnapper chuckled twice more: "Doesn't matter if you can't find us. If I see the police, I'll kill your son. Is the gold ready?"
"I want to talk to my son." Yin Feisong quickly replied.
"Answer me first, is the gold ready?"
Yin Feisong hesitated for a moment: "It's ready."
"I'll get back to you." With that, the other side hung up the phone.
