Lanling was deeply familiar with this desolate land, as it was the landscape he had seen upon first landing in the Barbaric Wilderness. The entire coastal area of the Southern Barbaric Lands, extending several hundred miles, was riddled with these land fissures.
Ordinary fissures might be only a few hundred meters, at most a few thousand meters deep.
But what about this so-called Hell Fissure?
Riding the Golden-maned Gryphon Beast, Lanling covered nineteen hundred miles in seven hours to reach this Hell Fissure.
And then, it was a sight to behold!
This so-called Hell Fissure was comprised of countless interconnected fissures, forming something akin to a labyrinth.
These fissures varied in depth; the shallower ones were a few thousand meters while the deeper ones seemed bottomless.
Moreover, between the fissures, there was magma and poisonous swamps emanating a green glow.
Such a place was indeed inhospitable even for insects, a complete life-forbidden zone.
